The circular intumescent fire block will fit 200mm dia spiral ducting
Intumescent Fire Blockers provide protection against the spread of fire and hot smoke through doors, walls and ductwork. They differ from regular fire dampers in that they have no moving parts; instead they expand to many times their normal size upon exposure to elevated temperatures indicative of a fire, forming an incombustible mass which seals its aperture, preventing the spread of fire and hot smoke.

Installation
- Suitable to install in timber fire doors, partition walls and ducts
- The product should not be used in areas of high/constant humidity
- Gaps around the unit greater than 3mm should be fire sealed using a intumescent sealant
- The fire block has predrilled holes in the side component, and is installed by screwing through the side, into the aperture wall.
- Gaps around the grille perimeter are sealed using intumescent sealant to both sides. - The product should not be used in areas of high/constant humidity. For circular applications in ducts, screw through the duct wall into the frames. Seal perimeter with intumescent sealant to both sides.
